Hey, truth seeker!
I’m Jem Mercedes, a silly, ever-evolving healing-artist
and I’m excited to share my heART with you. I guide others in remembering the Art of Life through embodied practice. My mediums include (but are not limited to) relational + somatic healing, platonic touch, dance, ritual, and Goddess Yoga, aka the art of divine embodiment.
Why Goddess Medicine?
I created Goddess Medicine as a sacred sanctuary for the cultivation of nurturance and presence. But what is a Goddess? What does she do?
Like the many rays of light emanating from the sun, the Goddess expresses herself in countless facets: fierce and tender, sovereign and relational, luminous and deeply human. She is not a single archetype, but a living spectrum.
Goddess Medicine honors the nurturing essence of the Goddess: the capacity to be held, cared for, supported, and strengthened in your human remembering.
But what is there to remember? Healing isn’t about fixing ourselves. It is about remembering our inherent wholeness: the steadiness, wisdom, and worth that were never truly lost, only obscured by pressure, conditioning, or pain.
This is a sanctuary where strength and softness coexist.
Where devotion meets daily life.
Where you are invited to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with your inherent worth.

My Devotional Path
There was a moment in my life when I realized I wasn’t broken…I was disconnected from my own inner truth. That realization became the foundation of Goddess Medicine.
I began offering platonic cuddle therapy because I had a complicated relationship with touch. I grew up deeply loved, yet physical affection was expressed sparingly. As an adult, I recognized a quiet distance between myself and the innate human desire for closeness and co-regulation.
Through platonic cuddling, I helped others feel safe and in doing so, I helped myself feel safe giving and receiving care. For over 4 years, I have worked as a professional platonic cuddle practitioner, holding grounded, consent-led spaces for individuals seeking nurturing presence, nervous system support, and relational repair. This work refined my ability to attune with myself and others, establish clear boundaries, and create environments where high-capacity individuals can soften without losing their strength. Many of the people I work with are leaders, creatives, and high-achievers who are accustomed to holding everything together. In our work, they experience what it feels like to be supported, not because they are failing, but because they are human.
Through Goddess Yoga, my understanding deepened: God/dess is not outside of us. God/dess is present in every inhale, every exhale, every decision, every embrace. When lived this way, even the most ordinary moments become sacred: a meeting, a meal, a conversation, a quiet breath before responding.
I haven’t just studied healing, I’ve become devoted to living it.
As a living mirror, I reflect back to you your sovereignty and your truth. What you recognize in me is already alive within you; that's why you can feel it! I am not here to fix you. I am here to help you remember who you are beneath expectation, performance, and pressure.

My friends describe me as creative, zany, spiritual, and enchanting. I warm the hearts of others with my infectious smile and deep reverence for life. I take sacred work seriously…but I don’t take myself too seriously. After all, life is meant to be FUN!
When I’m not guiding others, you’ll find me dancing at Ecstatic Dance, studying and reading books on consciousness, savoring good food, exploring the outdoors or on an enriching side quest. Dance, ritual, art, and Goddess Yoga are how I care for myself and tend to my own inner flame.
And it would be an honor to hold the mirror steady while you meet yours.
